So, no need to rely on dodgy tribunal decisions to get us a GF then?saintsRrising wrote:You look at them and they are pretty similar to the way we were in 2005 and 2006, in terms of how they are putting pressure on teams. The advantage they have is they probably have a little bit more top-end talent than we did.
Thanks Barry.

I don't reckon Barry Hall has ever slagged off St Kilda since he left. As far as I know has always admitted that he was the problem rather than the club and shown appreciation for the development he recieved here.big bad bustling barry gets on the bandwagon. 'bout time bastard
It's a shame when good players leave but at least he has tried to do it with some dignity unlike Everit and Lockett who rarely missed an opportunity to sink the slipper.
You are right. Nothing annoyed me more than seeing him get to lift the Premiership Cup and Banger didn't. But he has never bagged us.Saints43 wrote:I don't reckon Barry Hall has ever slagged off St Kilda since he left. Has Spider bagged us, I havn't heard him. Was at Harves Testimonial. Unlike Plugger, no matter how good he was I have no respect for him.

I think Spider didn't like GT. Called him the "mini-bus" - only half a coach.Saint Bev wrote:You are right. Nothing annoyed me more than seeing him get to lift the Premiership Cup and Banger didn't. Hotel De Los Muertos: Your room is ready... Care to step inside?
Personally, I hate these articles from players that are written just to uphold contractual agreements... They are always just generic, substancless stories, with a big name photo attatched...
A bit of indepth analysis wouldnt go astray, or naming a player or 10 that have improved etc.... I know its not thier proper job, but all it amounts to really is just a frustratingly pointless read....

I hope he isnt trying to instigate a final year with us.
Its no big secret he is done in Sydney and still wants to play, but the guy took off on us for a pay day so I hope he doesnt want to come back and even if he does I hope we dont pick him up

I was interested in his opinion. I'm always interested in an opinion that says the Saints are the best. I remember Mike Sheehan asking BBBH if Adam Goodes was the best player he'd seen and Hall replied 'you forget I've played with Nathan Burke and Loewe and Harvey' I've sort of appreciated him since then.
"He spoke of his stride, his power and his willingness to push himself to exhaustion. All of the things that are on display each weekend in the No 12 jumper" Garry Lyon
i know, we know, that BBBH has always been a little bit different. that is perhaps what makes him a good footballer.
it's no secret that there is an underlying frustration among other things that exists within the club and the list, yet what has been extra-ordinary are the coaching staff and the supporters.
the players have been good, what will be great is for them to finally lift the premiership cup.
good onya barry hall for offering an opinion. better that he exercises his mind than knocking people out.
i like that he is trying to show people he is not just a homerun hitter and that he has a softer touch.
