yeah, we all know that saints pressure has been excellent this year, and that's probably what's at the bottom of our good form.
but i'm really impressed with where the goals are coming from:
riewoldt: 21 (3.0 per game)
milne: 16 (2.3 per game)
schneider: 13 (1.9 per game)
koschitzke: 12 (2.0 per game)
goddard: 9 (1.3 per game)
gardiner: 7 (1.0 per game)
mcqualter: 7 (1.0 per game)
dal santo: 6 (0.9 per game)
jones: 5 (0.7 per game)
gram: 4 (0.6 per game)
geary: 4 (0.6 per game)
the top four on that list are a given - they're permanent forwards and were the top four last year without a doubt.
but how good is it having goddard able to swing down there and present a really tough matchup? to have gardy able to change out of the ruck and present a real target and kick goals? to have mcqualter able to provide excellent pressure and also capitalise on it? and to have goals coming from dal, jones, gram, geary in midfield?
nowhere near as reliant on riewoldt as previously. that forward line is a real success story.
