Can we trade to get Harves back for last gallop in the slosh?
Was probably the cleanest player in the wet of the modern era.
Liked AAMI too.

Bring it on!

They would prefer dry more than us, they are a quick side who enjoy possession until they can find their runners in space. As long as we continue with our tackling and pressure and keep the ball in close we should be able to wear them down.

Hopefully we won't mess around with the ball too much and kick the ball quickly into our forward line where our pressure and tackling can lock it in and create some oppotunities for our small forwards and mids.

It's gonna be ugly and I'm fairly confident we can play that game.

Rain and at night.

This means X Clarke could be a realistic replacement for Koschitzke or even Raph if he is genuinely fit.

our current defensive pressure in wet weather, if we keep the intensity we could see a very low score posted by port.

Hopefully the wet makes port fumble and turn the ball over like freo does in the dry. Hopefully not to us

Disappointing as I think in the dry Big Ben McEvoy would come straight in and I'm a big fan.

But in the wet I reckon you'd bring in X.

I think the dry would suit both teams better, but I'd still prefer it personally.

I would prefer dry because I think we are a much better team. Wet gives them a chance particularly on own turf.

In Adelaide this morning and the local rag mentions that neither of the Burgoyne's is going to be playing - that's a definite plus for us. The one that's not suspended apparently didin't get through training last night. :D

He got 2, Casisi got 1. Casisi back this week. Sean Burgoine didn't complete training yesterday (bruised knee) and is in doubt for tomorrow night !!

X has always struggled to keep his feet in the dry... He'd better have turned the corner if he is going to come in purely cos its wet....

Brogan also missed training - heavy head cold but they insist he will play.

Just checked the BoM radar, it's already pissing down in Adelaide.

That radar image is one big page of various shades of green ... ugly ... forecast to ease to showers tomorrow...how well does AAMI drain? From memory it stays pretty slippery...
