10 straight goals in the second quarter

Post: # 721704Post Enrico_Misso »

This is another record for our club.
And was part of a run of 13 consecutive goals stretching into the 3rd quarter.

10 straight goals in a quarter has only ever been done 6 times by other clubs.

And there are two instances of it being bettered.
- Brisbane kicked 11.0 against Carlt R16 2000 in the 3rd Qtr
The all time record is
- Carlton with 12.0 against Ess R16 1972 in the 2nd Qtr

we seem to be building victories on a combination of pretty good forward returns (it was excellent today) and EPIC defensive shutdowns.
