I can't understand how Gablett got 10 votes this week but not last week, I thought he was exceptional last week whereas SJ stole the show this week...

The important thing is Dal is doing well, keep it up mate.

he also leads the ABC award
The Tally Room: Round Two
Gary Ablett and Nick Dal Santo have opened up an early - but slight - break on the field, as voting for the ABC Footballer of the Year continues.

Ablett, who claimed maximum points in Geelong's round one victory over Hawthorn, collected a single vote in the Cats's 20-point triumph over Richmond at Kardinia Park on Saturday.

Dal Santo (pictured) shares the lead on four points after two rounds, having topped the voting in St Kilda's 32-point triumph over Adelaide at Football Park on Friday night.
slipped to second with no votes in rd 3- but joined by Sam Gilbert
Leaderboard (after three rounds):

1. Sam Mitchell - Five votes

2. Nick Dal Santo (SK), Sam Gilbert, Chris Judd, Gary Ablett (Geel) - Four votes

RD 4 back to joint leader with gablett
Leaderboard (after four rounds):

1. Gary Ablett, Nick Dal Santo - Seven votes

3. Sam Gilbert, Dane Swan - Six votes

5. Sam Mitchell (Haw), Adam Selwood, Warren Tredrea - Five votes

Why does the headline and the text of the AFL article refer to him as "The Big Saint"?
Big Saint makes early running
Hot on the big Saint’s heels is two-time winner Gary Ablett....

So the two coaches voted like this:

Coach 1
5. Dal
4. Roo
3. Joey
2. Ball
1. Fisher/Jones

Coach 2
5. Joey
4. Dal
3. Gilbert
2. Roo
1. Fisher/Jones

Anybody want to hazard a guess as to which coach is which? Which coach voted for Jones and which one voted for Fisher? My guess is that the first one is Lyon and that he gave one to Jones.

i think the players earn more than enough that any awards should be donated.
