"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

This makes me remember my one and only experience at Football Park back in 1998. We got slaughtered by like 13 goals, Modra and Vardy were kicking goals from everywhere.
Oh and how can i forget the abuse i copped for wearing a stk jumper from from those bloody inbred ferals. They must have felt really good picking on a 10 year old!
Then there was the long ride back home in the car the next day...
Hope that those who are making the trip this week have a better trip than i did when i went, and return with 4 of the sweetest points!!

Enjoy Nat. Hope we win. I have been to 2 games over there, (1 win, 1 loss). As has already been said here, be prepared for the home crowd. I have never felt so outnumbered, but it was a good experience. And surprisingly, both times although the Adelaide crowd was passionate those around us weren't too obnoxious.
Remember to cheer for all thiose of us who can't be there!

Anyone sitting near bay 140 ? That's where Im sitting and am scared it will be all crows. I'm in Adelaide for the first time, went for a walk down glenelg this morning in my saints shirt and got a few dirty looks haha.
It windy and quite cold at the moment with some dark clouds looming, definately a chance of showers

Don't worry, they generally have no idea of the rules, who plays for what team or that anyone exists outside of South Australia...if you're really concerned, just don't make any noise and they won't look up from their knitting in disgust at you.Sainter_4_life wrote:Anyone sitting near bay 140 ? It was true a couple weeks back, but not now. Didn't you hear about all the boo-hooing from Adelaide fans, who now fear Port fans will tip their beer on them? As if a Port fan would waste a beer tipping it on anyone!?!HardSaint wrote:Is it true they dont serve alcohol at the ground?
You have to leave the stadium to buy a drink so at each break there's a "swill" going on?
I for one, was most insulted...why don't they fear Saints supporters tipping a beer on them??? It should be every footy fans duty to the code.
