I had the same message when I sent off the email.
Which is a pity as I would have liked to have seen the film.

I also had the same error message after trying a couple of times yesterday.

I sent it off again his morning (Saturday) and it go through, looks like they have fixed up the link.

http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/ ... 23,00.html

Eric Bana was nine years old when he fell in love with the Ford Falcon Coupe.
Crossing his long skinny legs in front of the television at the family home near Melbourne airport, the boy with a dark blond bowl cut sat down to witness Alan Moffat and Colin Bond's famous one-two finish at Bathurst in 1977
There are a lot of places that are like my second home in Melbourne, and you can't stop going there because people are surprised to see you," he says. "No one bats an eyelid if they see me at the racetrack. I'm not hassled when I go to the football if I sit in the same seat every week. (Bana is a big St Kilda fan.) You stop being a novelty very quickly."
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
And what of the car? The mangled souvenir from Bana's past is still languishing in a garage. In the doco, Clarkson chastises Bana for neglecting his long-term love, arguing that he wouldn't trade his wife for a younger model if she was sick, so why his beloved coupe?

"I'm in no rush. It's like, if a hurricane came and blew down your house today, I'm sure you're not going to pick up the first brick tomorrow," he says. "I'd only just finished working on the car two weeks before the event, and there were two or three years of work and planning to get it to that condition. People ask me if I've fixed the car and I say, 'No mate, I made a bloody film about it!'" SM

He talked about how he was filming 'Munich' with Spielberg and the Saints were in the prelim against Sydney or Melbourne?(2005?).

There had been delays due to technical issues and he was watching it in the trailer with his Dad relaying info over the phone. 10mins to go he is called to the set (not happy).

Steve picks up on the vibe and asks him whats wrong. Eric tells him the deal and Steve turns to the techs on the set and says to take another 15mins trying to fix whatever problem they were having.

He joins Eric in the trailer to watch the end but mainly wants to hear Eric's dad relaying the game but admits he can't understand a word he was saying. (Sorry this was just on SEN as a highlight)

He also said that he takes DVD's of the footy and when there not filming tries to explain the game to the actors and crew.

When he got the part for 'Funny People' they had the character following rugby. When Eric was told he said no that's not right the guy would follow Aussie Rules. They then asked what team the character would support and he said St Kilda. They enquired about how hard it would be to get props for St Kilda and he said no problem at all.

There was more bits and pieces about how his Uncle gave him a Saints gurnsey when he was young and told him if he followed them he would take him to the footy every weekend.

But the main deal was about his new doco 'Love the Beast'. His car

Well, Eric prophesised tonight at the Love The Beast screening that we'll be top 5 this year, and win the premiership next year.

Rogan, who is in Sydney to promote his new animated movie Monsters Vs Aliens, said there is a scene in the movie where Bana's character forces him and Sandler to watch an Aussie Rules match.

"Judd likes to improvise, so he just put the camera on Bana and was like, `tell them about Aussie Rules football'.

"And 30 minutes later he's still ... running around, he was tackling us and throwing us on the ground, and he's singing ... the St Kilda song.

"It's crazy and it was really funny. People in Australia will get a giant kick out of it, I think."

Maybe the club could bring out a Members Only extended deleted scenes version.

His best character was "crazy pants Gus"..

Good on him.

Comes across as a great guy. Many of us would do the same if in his position.

I spent a few years in my early twenties overseas, in both the US and Europe...was the same story in each country. Explaining the game to everyone...

Very limited internet or global coverage of AFL back in those days...most thought I was a lunatic.

"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....
