Sponsorship Group Prizes

I have received the following information from the Club re the first function for this year for which we have 4 pairs of tickets.

Hi Allan,

The Season Launch details are as follows:

Venue: Melbourne Yacht Club Hotel, Docklands
Date: Tuesday 17th March
Time: 6:30pm â€“ 8:30pm
Dress: Cocktail â€“ Lounge suit for Men, business attire for ladies

SaintsRrising will be conducting a 'raffle' to determine who wins the 4 pairs of tickets but would everybody involved in the Sponsorship Group please take note of the date, time and venue in case they win the tickets.

Don't put me in the raffle. If I happened to be lucky enough to win, I wouldn't be able to be in Melbourne at that time of the year. So pleaase leave me out....better odds for others eh

Perhaps there can be some form of priority system, e.g. some people don't want to/can't go to the season launch, therefore they get a higher priority on some of the other events. It wouldn't be difficult to organise, more balls in the lottery, so to speak.

'tis my wish SR....... I'd prefer to increase to the odds for someone else to benefit, & not have to be a decision maker if I won.

To be fair on HSV King, he did pay, but for some reason it's gone into another account and his bank is looking into it

I really don't know when the club requires the money and maybe you should PM Mr Magic...

If there is some time left maybe half one fortnight and half the next if that makes it easier (with time permitting)...

I suggest you just PM MM and see.

I think the sponsors who haven't paid should be included in the raffle... if they win - it's more of an incentive for them to pay in return for the raffle winnings.

Ok..we are now ready for the Draw.

To be transparent firstly:

Have all asked to be excluded from the first part.

The Sponsors raffle will be in two parts.

Part A for this pre-season prize.

Part B at the first game for remaining "prizes".

One share = one chance of winning.
For the first part I have removed the posters above.

I have devised a system where I will ask 4 forumites to nominate a number which will = a winning ticket number. As time is short I will ask 4 random forumites who are regular posters so that we get a quick response. I will have a time limit for response which if not reached will then cause another poster to be asked. Failing this if I stilldo not have 4 qualifying numbers I will add 35 to the lowest number given, then deduct 14 from the highest, add 135 to the lowest.

I will assign the ticket numbers in a particular way and will prior to asking the 4 forumites email the key to my system to a Mod (this ensures that I am not rigging the system in anyway). Please note that I do not knwo our Mods or having any dealings with them apart from posts on this forum.

I will check things in the morning with the aim of having the raffle commence at lunchtime Friday.
