My first post - A Hong Kong convert

Post: # 697626Post TerenceHK »

I am happy to have found this board. I arrived in Australia from Hong Kong last year never having seen an Aussie rules game.

My friend ( a loyal Saints supporter) took me to my first game which was against Hawthorn. I remember that the Saints did not do well in the first half but it was great when they ran over the Hawks.

After that my friend dragged me to more home games as he said I might be the lucky charm.

Sadly I was at the final against Geelong and didn't feel too lucky after that game.

But I loved the game so much that I have bought a membership and seat and will barrack for the Saints at each game this year.

My favourite players thus far are Adam Schneider and Brendon Goddard.

I hope the Saints go well this year and keep up their exciting play which I enjoyed very much in the games I went to in 2008.

Did your mate pick you out a suitable Psychiatrist as well. 8-)
