since you know him, and he is a rookie, do you think he will make it as an afl player?
Which rookie are you talking about?

They're talking about Sam McGarry

Was anyone brave enough to battle the heat and head down to training today?? If so, any chance of a report??

Did they actually train today what was the temp?

Adelaide hit 46.5.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

I'll give a quick run down of what I can remember from todays training.

Warm up
Kick to kick, rolling ball to partner
3 man weave
Kicking drill in square shape
Match simulation drill-2 teams and pretty basic
A keepings off(get ball through to the other side) handball and short kick drill with pressure
Warm down

I'm sure I probably missed a number of things but thats a general outline and several groups of players went off and did their own thing. Also players who were running laps at some stage were Schnieder,Hudgton, King, Gardiner, X, Ball?, Lenny and some othert youngsters I didn't recognise. Also Goose and Bakes are huge. Bakes was in full training I think and Goose was doing some quick handballing and using medicine balls with some of the younger guys. Goose, X and 4 or 5 others then rode on the bikes for at least half an hour and probably longer.very impressed to see them train in the heat for over 2 hours.

depends if people get injured for him to actually to get a game. yes he is capable of getting a game, but i wouldn't think he'd get a game this year like most other draftees.
