No offence to you Barry, but the Club have to really get his spelling right..

It spelt differently on the AFL site and spelt differently on the Saints site...

The Saints site has his name spelt differently on two occasions here

http://www.saints.com.au/TheClub/Player ... 7&typeid=1

and here...

http://www.saints.com.au/AFL2008/News/A ... wsid=70888

I for one think that the St Mary's Football site would be the one to know his name and hence I think it's ....

Ross TUNGATALUM

2.30 in first goal.

http://www.ntnews.com.au/article/2008/1 ... sport.html
PREMIER Australian football school St John's College has claimed St Kilda's AFL recruit Ross Tungatalum as one of its own.

The Bathurst islander and St Marys premiership player was recruited by AFL club St Kilda in last week's rookie draft.

But while AFL records have St Marys as 18-year-old Tungatalum's parent club, St John's coach and sports co-ordinator Stuart Shaw said his school played a major role in his career.

Xavier Clarke is looking forward to another Top End Saint making his mark in the AFL.

"St Kilda has always been keen to get more indigenous players at the club," he said.

"After I spoke to (recruiting manager) John Beveridge a few weeks ago about Ross and a few others, they decided to have a closer look at the Darwin comp and were pretty rapt with what they saw."

St Kilda coach Ross Lyon liked what he saw when he was in Darwin for Xavier Clarke Sr's funeral last month.

St Marys' president Adrian Moscheni said Tungatalum and James Puautjimi had come under notice, with Lyon keen to draft both players to the club.

Unfortunately for Puautjimi, he did not register for the main or rookie drafts.

I love the way he kicked one with his right foot and then one with his left.
He looks like he is a natural kick with either foot.

I can't believe how many overpaid amateurs in the AFL can only kick with one foot.
This makes them so vulnerable to being corralled and unable to run past an opponent.
This is because if they are running in the wrong line they are unable to hook the ball across their body.

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

impressive skills and looks to have a lot of talent. the hard part for him will be settling into life a long way from home and family.

i guess xavier and raph will be able to give him some tips about that.

It was posted in one of the rookie threads as being 176cm and 68kg I think.
Either that or swap the 6 and 8 ie 178 and 66

Good heavens. With a name like that, he would have had to be a boxer.
