Layne Beachley (Surfing)
The girl from Manly is widely regarded as the greatest female professional surfer in history. If you need evidence to back that claim consider this, she won six consecutive world championship between 1998-2003, and then again in 2006 to add her seventh.
Robert Harvey (Football)
Will the AFL really be the same without Harvey? He made his debut for St Kilda in 1988 and finally hung up his boots at the end of season 2008 after 383 games - the third highest in VFL/AFL history. Along the way he picked up consecutive Brownlow medals in 1997 and '98.
