The AFL wishes to advise that no uncontracted listed players chose to nominate for the 2008 NAB AFL Draft, before today's 2pm deadline.
The second list lodgement for all clubs for this year's draft is at 2pm this Friday, November 14. At that time, the final selection order for the Draft, to be held on Saturday November 29 at Telstra Dome, will be determined and provided that afternoon.

To make this relevant to us, that means if we're looking to pick up the likes of Nathan Carroll, we'll have to do it through the PSD.
...where you'd suspect we'd be looking at Cousins for our first (and probably only) pick.
I'd suggest this perhaps means we're unlikely to take Carroll. Or at least more unlikely than we were before.

Excuse my ignorance, does that mean BC if cleared can only go to the PSD?

BC can go into the national draft if the AFL lets him and he wants to. The former is likely to happen but not the latter.
I hope for our sake we grab him in the PSD. There doesn't seem to be much out there considering that Carlton have offered a two-year deal to Chris Johnson.
