GEELONG coach Mark Thompson has put the collective minds of Cat fans at ease by describing the leg injury to Gary Ablett sustained early in the match as "nothing to worry about".
Thompson said the superstar would be able to return in two weeks and also confirmed that the Cats would most likely regain premiership players Corey Enright, Max Rooke, Joel Corey and Joel Selwood for the NAB Cup quarter-final against St Kilda in Canberra next week. However, Matthew Scarlett and Paul Chapman remain at least another fortnight away from resuming.
WOO WHOO I don't have to watch that bald headed git run around next weekend, that puts a smile on my dial!

I hope Ablett makes a kracle recovery. Id like to play Cats near their best and with much the same side we had this week - to me this comps about kids and exposure...so why not to the best?
IF Eddy/Geary/Allen and Co stood up against scarlett and others all the "yeag but its only a praccy game" doomsayers might shut up....
i think it will be great for the players like allan/geary/armitage etc to actually get more than one game like last year. great to see them play in the saints colours rather than casey colours.
i think it is pretty much a case of whoever wins this game wins the comp
Saints Vs Hawks in the final is my tip
i think so too
we were second fav for this cup before they thought we were gonna throw against richmond, we will get some players back for week 4 and go out to win it (if we make it)
Disappointing, I want to see them at full strength...
We can win, not sure if we will but I hope we do, I would love to see us win the NAB cup, the money would be a boost and it just lets us see our younger players for longer...

poxtel sorry and yes i cant watch the game
Can't wait to see how we go next week. if u don't have foxtel why don't u find a venue that does eg the pub
Not as easy as that when you have baby! Can't just go to a pub or crown.
Luckly my parents have poxtel, so I will most likely end up there!

i think it'll be a saints v blues final. lets just make sure though if we make it to the final we dont lose thats the worst youve gone all that way for nothing.
Can you imagine if we did beat the blues in the final, for all their hype they would have actually gone backwards by not winning the cup...

Hawks very ordinary against the swans, who did everything they could to lose. Seems they want to play in the NAB challenge without all the silly rule changes.

Lol, love the optimism devilhead
Will be interesting to see who Miles will be playing on, I wouldn't mind seeing him take on Lonergan...
