New banner for saintsational - entries wanted!

[Oh When the Saints]

Approximately 60 of the forum's members have contributed to the sponsoring of Sam Gilbert and Jarryn Geary in 2008, and have done so on behalf of this forum.

Both players are sponsored by saintsational.com


Most other football fan forums alter their banner (the image at the top of the page which says "saintsational.com") to reflect the player sponsorship that they are part of.


So I reckon we should come up with a new banner for SS. There is a huge amount of design talent on here, and some fantastic things have been done in the past - the alternate jumpers thread is a great example.

What can you come up with?

It should include the following somewhere:
- saintsational.com
- Sam Gilbert
- Jarryn Geary
- "sponsors of" (or a similar phrase)
- colour scheme that fits the Saints/this site



NOTE - this is in no way a guarantee that one of your designs will be used for the banner, but there is a good chance. There may be a poll to vote on designs if there are a number of excellent ones ...

Here's a quick idea, just thrown around in about half an hour, if that.

-Changed the Saintsational Wordmark.
-Didn't want to make it too fancy or whatever.
-Would work well with a white forum background.

iv noticed a trend with some of these designs....while they are great would it be hard to have the names of the players in the same order as the pictures

               gilbert name - geary name

You better fix Geary's name first. "Jarryn"

I like Saints-06-Premiers design, although that background is a bit annoying! Maybe change it to a watermark of the saints shield?

And, I think it may be copyrighted.
I remember HawksHQ had problems with the AFL over the use of logos.
I'm not sure.

oh k no i just noticed it on armoooo's background and i thought that there was no copyright! But yeah, good idea i dont want anyone sued over intellectual property.
