Which player would you like to see SS sponsor in 2008?

Post: # 483070Post Oh When the Saints »

**Please do not vote in the poll if you do not intend to be part of the sponsorship.**

The saintsational forum are going to sponsor at least one player in 2008. All information is contained in the multiple page thread entitled "Player Sponsorship 2008".

Shares and payment will be arranged in a couple of weeks time, but we need to decide which player we would like to sponsor.

Last year, the general consensus seemed to be that a youngster/fringe player was best to sponsor - they are generally within our price range, and it gives them more of a boost as feeling part of the club.

I have included several options in this poll - if there are any you would like me to add, just PM me or leave a comment below.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Thanks jill ...

I should have said - we will pass on the top 3-4 names that we are interested in ... going by last year, all of the guys on the list above should be available to sponsor.

Whoever is the highest ranked on this poll will most likely be our sponsored player for 2008.

So choose carefully!

Thanks for that. Can I change my mind and now go for pick 9?

Has to be a player on that list ... the sponsorship will be finalised before this year's draft, so it is a current player from '07.

And unfortunately, if you've already voted, you can't change your vote :(

Sean Dempster.

Can you guys sponsor a Saintsational forumite? I need the money a hell of a lot more than any AFL player does.

not sure if you are just mucking around but the money goes to the club, just like the coach sponsor goes to the club not the coach.

gilbert would be great, don't mind the idea of sponsoring the next star in allen!

Armo got my vote.

Like the idea of sponsoring a player that I feel will have a breakthrough year. It was Gilbert this year, my moneys on Armo next year!

Having said that I would be rapt if we got to sponsor a player like Gilbert, puts in 100% every game and keeps getting better and better.

This poll is by no means conclusive, as it depends on the availability and price.

(That said, I am confident we will sponsor the player that most posters would like us to sponsor)

So please vote if you haven't already.

Yes, his BOG performances for the Scorps were a figment of our imagination.

Didn't exactly get many chances at that level last year.
