Isa community efort....ie with the Docs etc..


Two important points...Screening and load monitoring..and must act on what you find.

Takes about an hour to screen.

You MUST look at a players history....to determine what loading can be given to them.

ie..Use Thommo as an example asa late starter who had had a low loading prior to AFL....

What was wrong?

said would not say...but that the saints are starting afresh...

Must work well together and have shared philophosy of al the fitness and conditioning staff..

Have to look at all individual player factors.

Alignment
Muscle length

Curvature of the spine etc etc.. to come up with individual player conditioning and training.

As an observation groin injuries are rife in soccer due to all their sudden stop start style....so his hiring should be good news for Bally.

I spoke with an ex-saints Club Doca few weeks ago.

He indicated that the training staff did not always do what the Docs had recommended.



So I was VERY pleased to hear Andrew's comments that everyone need to reading off the same page.





I think the other factor now at play is that the QUALITY of the guys we have now recuited for our Player Conditioning staff is at the ELITE level.

Misson, Wallace and the new Club Doc are all at the top of their specialities with good experience to booth.

Then toss in Dr Ross Smith and his AIS Committee...and were area quantum leap above where we were 12 months ago.

This is a real boost for the players and the club, I cant rememeber us being this aggresive in getting the people we need to do the jobs at the club, I heard Misson was chased hard by Carlboard big time to go there and to get Wallace away from Melb Victory says a lot for us as a club good people sense opportunity and success there is a lot to like about this

All i know is he is Missin from Sydney and he is Missing from Carlboard and he is Misson with us....so long as our players are not Missin any games next year you can schpell it any way you like.....
