They have us covered on every single line.
Most teams do presently. We have a significant talent shortage with and disproportionate number of young and inexperienced players being forced to play akin to a bottom 4 side going through a hard rebuild.

I thought we should have had the Dogs covered on quite a few last week.
I also thought we had Essendon covered on most when we played them.

Sometimes I ask neutral footy pundits what they think, too a person most are telling me we have got a long road ahead of building, I guess that's why pretty much most neutrals were telling us before R1 they expected us to slide this year.

Hopefully we get some luck with injury soon.

I was never overestimating our chances pre-season, but assumed we would be competing with the likes of Essendon and the Bulldogs for those last few spots in the eight...Like we did with Sydney, GWS, Essendon, and the Bulldogs last season.
We honestly haven't really looked "on" except for the Collingwood game and their form is not a great comparison either.

Happy to put my hand up for sarcasm...It's a go-to for me. Not everyone gets it, though...But, as I tell my kids, I don't make jokes for anyone else's amusement other than mine. If others find it funny, then that's a bonus.

As for the negativity...Well...I think last Thursday's "effort" deserves massive criticism - as does the lack of response from the selection panel. There were no positives to come from it.
Last time I checked, I have not broken any forum rules, and I am sure there is no self-appointed poster that can tell anyone to "wallow" elsewhere.
I also believe that being a supporter and paid up member for over 50 years qualifies me in both the "life long" moniker and the right to criticise the team when I see fit.

So, with that in mind, I suspect that you know what you can do with your "advice"!

I fully expect to lose badly tomorrow night. If we can get within 5 goals of them we will be doing really well.
It will be our defensive pressure that will give us a semblance of a chance to do that.
Hopefully, King will be back against North, though I am very quickly losing my enthusiasm for him being in the team.
Webster will be available against North and depending on how Dow goes this weekend, so will he.
Not sure about Wood.
We ran within a point of beating the Giants with virtually this same team. Yes, they had injuries and switched off, but we were good enough to take advantage of that.
Anyway, no stress tomorrow because there's no expectation except we see some hope for the future and no one gets added to our injury list.

Think of me long enough to make a memory.

No Max King and 8 kids under 21
This game can only end one way

Life is never more fun than when you're the underdog competing against the giants.

Too tall and slow up forward, too tall and slow down back.

Need Webster Collard in for Cordy Membrey

We are going to struggle to kick more than five goals tomorrow night.

They have us covered on every single line.
A bit OTT don't you think?

If we win they will make a sequal to Miracle On Ice.

Hayes and Scho would make little difference this week.

The cupboard is barer than its ever been.
Not OTT at all.
If we're looking at throwing Cordy forward, then all is truly lost.
Hayes is a better option on many fronts than Caminiti and Cordy...And I am not sure what more Schoenmaker can do at Sandy.
It probably won't make a difference, but a statement needed to be made after last Thursday. We have done nothing even close to a statement.

I repeat...They have us covered on every single line.

Watch us play Charlie Dixon back into form!

The most OTT thing I've read here that hasn't come from B.M.

The problem with dropping Cordy is that he has been very good. Probably career best form.

We are just not a balanced side at the moment, so that should take preference over form.

Perfect opportunity for all selected to show a bit of heart and effort.

King, Wood, Dow, Webster, Paton, Hayes, Clark, Crouch and Henry all becoming available over the next few weeks will create fierce competition for spots.

Those in the team have tonight to prove their worth.

He's actually been very serviceable since coming across from the Dogs and played most weeks, funny how some supporters still don't see him as best 22, ironically he's been more serviceable than Max King in the same time frame. Value is assessed differently by different pundits I suppose.

If I've overindexed on replying to your posts, I apologise- it hasn't been deliberate. I've just been responding to things over the past few weeks which are unnecessarily negative.

Some teams come out and win with their backs against the wall.

Remember the start of last season when we had injuries and a bunch of kids playing and we played probably our best footy of the year?

No excuses for lack of effort or rubbish gameplan.

Yes playing with a depleted young team interstate surprised we aren't favourites.

If we are a system based team and we are well coached and prepared

Injuries should be less significant yeah?

Soldier out
Next in line comes in to play their role!

Personally, I don’t believe that bulls***

The best game plans are those with the best players

I don't think we're going with 4 big defenders. I initially thought Howard (or Cordy) might play forward, until I realised Membrey, Sharman & Camminiti are all still in.

Josh Battle had a huge part in our comeback against GWS when he went into the middle in the last quarter. We couldn't use him there last week because of the height in the Bulldogs forward line. Maybe we're looking to release Battle into the midfield?

Simple question when you do footy tips do you check the ins and outs?

Surely if injuries aren't an excuse all clubs are wasting a heap of time on recruiting.

Would be good to see Josh lining up in the centre square for the first bounce.

Phillipou out of there and back up to forward line.
(His perpetual selection is starting to wear very thin)
