Jack Sinclair -calf issue

Post: # 2042153Post Sainternist »

Mitch Cleary has reported that Sinker has an ongoing calf issue and will miss the 2 preseason practice matches. Let’s hope the rest will do him good and he’ll be back in time for our Round 1 clash down in Sleepy Hollow 🤞🤞

He should never have cut his hair.

I think the long hair assisted his running balance. He might have to resort to using hair extensions until his hair grows back.

Is this a precautionary move due to soreness or has he torn his calf?

Apparently precautionary if they are hopeful for round 1
A torn calf would b3 a lot longer than 2 weeks.

It provides hope and opportunity at the peak time for a young player. Will be interesting to see how Hastie goes with some responsibility.

No one will take his spot and I was referring to the pre-season hit outs. Bonner might just find his own spot.

Hastie is a good defender, ranked number 1 for rebounds last year and is also a lovely kick and could really end up a Dempster type with more pace.
At 190 he can play a very versatile game and could go into the midfield.
The other Angus is another who will be looked at preseason for the same reasons. Both strong in the air and over the ball.

Apparently has “calf awareness”, and hasn’t been seen on the track training or even running for a couple of weeks now.
