If their titles were more specific and defined- we would know what they are responsible for

Instead of just making s*** up

Should I quote??
The titles go on the front of the book. They catch the view of the reader to create interest.

Making s*** up, like you preferring Higgins kicking for goal % to align with Lockett's is they type of line that shows a lack of grasp with reality.

Billings being a great servant of anyone but himself is another.

Lockett had 69% and was the greatest goal kicker of all time.

You rated Billings because he..........I have no idea why you rated Billings.

I spotted Billings and you from a mile off too. But I would think basic literacy skills and self paced learning is more likely the problem.

Again I'm not sure.

We have had success with National recruiting with Toce and Gallagher clearly had intimate connections and loyalties in SA. I'm guessing he played all his cards and did a good job. He couldn't improve the development t at the club though and there for we had a good TPP when Lyon took over.

SOS came to put a talent development strategy in place. We promote the good players up the TPP ladder and slashed the dead weight.

Darymple and the developmemt coaches are all experts now.

We are building pathways programs and age based academies.

The AFL will love it and so will Tassie and Sandrigham and Frankston.

THE MAIN SKILL REQUIRED IS IDENTIFYING TALENT THROUGH DEVELOPMENT.

GETTING THE BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE IS VERY SPECULATIVE. DEVELOPMENT IS A PROVEN INDICAOR OF IMPROVEMENT AND SUCCESS.

WE WANT SPEED AND SKILLS. But we only get certain picks.

A talent identification and monitoring and assessment strategy of the talent will do the role of both.

In the next 3 years, plenty of teams will be picking off our development as we hunt for Big Fish and will be willing to turn over those developing while solidifying a top 8 position. In two years it will be top 4 and we will have recruiting and trading options coming from everywhere.

Every other club will think its rigged or try to emulate it.

We are becoming a professionally run and equipped destination club with a rich football based zone.

Hey Skeptic you missed this one.
Technically the wankers referred to are employees of the club.

If you are going to moderate and respond to complaints try to fix the swear filter or expand it. Otherwise, remove all the offensive posts in every post.

I dont want to over burden you unnecessarily but you appear to be very keen to take this on, with a lopsided approach.

Pleas take this as an official complaint and see to providing a list of offensive terms and connotation or leave my posts alone.

lol 😂

Btw

We don’t have a zone… it’s a draft system

We have an academy (like all clubs) and the draft rules that apply to academy selections - only available after pick 40

Those academies contain FS products, Koori or those born outside of Aus or have parents born OS

We have a huge development zone BM, it's well defined in our development programs. Trying reading. I believe you live in it. It's a development zone, not a recruiting zone. It has nothing to do with the draft. It's a public service we provide in ZONE between our training facilities

I think you will find we have dropped the Next Gen tag from our academies.

As I said, clueless and making s*** up, again.

Saints rebrand successful Academy amid AFL review - https://www.afl.com.au/news/891709

I have a nephew who is going through an elite Junior program.

He lives and plays in the Seaford zone.

He won, both his club and league goal kicking and, best and fairest awards and was invited to join an interleague squad lead by the St.Kilda football club.

Luckily, his mum grandad and all his great aunties and uncles barrack for St,Kilda. He will be aligned with the club until he is ready to play with the Dragons or Stingrays.

It's our zone.

Next lesson won't be u til this afternoon but keep asking questions

Now before you shoot of a response.

It's about professional development and club alignment twith talented footballers from the zone, not draft recruiting.

Kids who come through those academies will get first class development and when they get drafted to the bottom of the ladder, they will remember us a destination club for development and leadership.

It's part of the programs you thinkmI make up.

Maybe you should stretch your knowledge personally and read some of the links I post before you make a goose of yourself again. Not that that sems to worry you or me. But I'm gonna start ignoring you or charging tuition fees.

Yeah, rebranded - same thing - it’s still an academy

our academy zone yes

Not our recruiting zone - no such thing

We only have access to academy players under the drafting rules

McKenzie was an academy product having parents born overseas

He is now at Hawthorn

We ‘developed’ him (his TAC cup team did)

He was drafted to Hawthorn

We had Peris - delisted
McLennan - rookie
Obviously Owens and Windhager before rules were changed

That’s 3 StK players - most likely 2 after this season.

I've never said they were recruitment zones and it looks nothing like it used to.
Stop getting stuck on titles thinking you know what's going to be in the article.
It has nothing to do with recruiting, it's development.

You just keep repeating it because you want to believe you are never wrong.

I assume from all the times you go away and read and then change your argument, that you actually uderstand exactly what I am saying.

Geelong dont have a recruiting zone either but they have an elite program and players go there.

Henry came here because he wants to be a fashion designer and Melbourne is the spot for that.

I'd assume we have a number of well healed Melbourne aristocrats that could give him a heads up and helping hand.

If he becomes an AFL star at St!kilda and a fashion label entrepreneur, he will thank St.Kilda for the opportunity.

Before I started cutting and pasting you accused me of making things up.

Now you are accusing me of not knowing where to source the materials that back up my knowledge.

You started the thread with a question. You've avoided and discredited the lesson in two separate threads.

If you could start a thread that says, BM's questions about initiatives that have been published in the wide stream media, I will will keep an eye on it and do some cut and pasting for you.

I spoke with Ross today, he says his hip is getting stronger and we discussed a wide range of topics including list management, said something about the cobblers in the chocolate factory are busy at work and if everyone believes then dreams will come true. We finished our chat with a skip down the yellow brick road.
