Ins vs outs

Post: # 2033984Post B.M »

Is the list going to be stronger

Gresham vs Henry
Billings vs Dow
Coffield vs Draft pick
McKenzie vs Draft pick

We have improvement from 18-23yos
We have a better run with key injuries

Still think there will be another trade in and out

Let's hope so. The Richardson era needs to be wiped.

Gresham vs Henry - little difference. Henry quicker both truly appalling kicks of the football.
Billings vs Dow - Billings at his best is better than Dow but as Billings has been injured probably ahead with Dow.
Coffield vs Draft pick - Injury impacted but when fit a top 10 player at the club vs a player picked in the 50s - significantly weaker.
McKenzie vs Draft pick - Permanently injured player vs pick 60 (unlikely to ever play a game) - about the same.

So really a little weaker but maybe saving a little salary cap space.

Infinitely better, both Henry and Dow represent youth with excellent prospects to become very good players, unlike Gresham and Billings.

Coffield I had hoped would stay, but question marks remain over his long term viability following two years of injuries, quite happy to receive a late 2nd or early 3rd RDP for him.

McKenzie also unknown outlook following chronic soft tissue injuries, only played 24 games in past three years, not one in 2023!

Henry looks to be developing well -which is why Bell is so pissed off to lose him.
Dow also on the way up.

Neither have shown what Billings and Gresh have yet, but the hope is in their upside.

Coffield leaving hurts...if he is fit and over his injuries, he will be a good player for the Dogs....much better than the pick 37 we get back (if we're lucky)

And we still don't know what will happen with Membrey.

This is the year we balance the books , I reckon, on some seriously dodgy contracts.

Improvement from within, Caminiti with a pre season, Hayes back from injury etc., hopefully Jones back on track etc

Not many super ageing lists in the comp right now.

Do you really believe every list is improving next year?
