Makes me wonder just WHAT the hell went on between him and the club in 2009-2010?????!!!
Someone made the wrong decision.
WOW! Scollop, my dear fellow Saintster and colleague, you've a gift for understatement! Ball, for almost eight-nine years was clearly a vital part of the squad along with Dal, BJ, Roo, Lenny, Joey, Kosi, and within a (relatively) short space of time he wanted OUT!
I hope this doesn't turn into a 'Ball' vs 'Lyon' thread but I think I might have opened the proverbial

What I meant was that Luke wasn't the one to make the wrong call. He proved his worth as a player after he left us. He proved his value as a player. It's that simple

thejiggingsaint wrote: Sun 01 Oct 2023 5:31pm I have to admit to just the slightest feelings of repulsion/disgust when I saw Luke Ball sitting on the panel of "Offsiders" this morning, grinning like a Cheshire cat at the Magpies Flag victory. To hear him gushing on about "Pendles" and "Steele" almost made me spew up! (I hasten to add here that I do NOT hold any animosity toward those fine players) To think that WE had him here for EIGHT seasons and He now considers himself a "Collingwood person" (even to the extent of being on the selection panel that appointed Craig McCrae!) Makes me wonder just WHAT the hell went on between him and the club in 2009-2010?????!!!
I also hate his choice of companions on that panel. I extremely dislike them one and all.

My disgust made me change the f****** channel.

That arsewipe from the panel teamed up with that nasty Kero Caro was just to much for me to stomach
