Toby Greene
What would it cost to get him to come to St Kilda in 2025?
He got a 2 year contract extension to an already long term deal that he had, which ties him to GWS until 2026.
The AFL probably wouldn't let it happen.
It would certainly get the footy world paying attention to St Kilda
Obviously dependant on GWS not making finals and hopefully our team showing we are improving and part of the finals mix in 2024
I'd love him to come to us for his leadership too. The Gubby and SOS connection might get something as amazing as this over the line.
Also another guy that might be available is big Jarrod Witts. He's contracted to the end of 2024

We are so incompetent most saints supporters don't get to see a flag in their lifetime.
Will we pick up a player in the SSP window

Re: Toby Greene
There was a show on FoxFooty and the idea came from Steve Johnson (ex Cat premiership hero and former team mate of Greene's)
Stevie J said Toby should look at going to Collingwood
All the stars seem to go to the big clubs. Jordan De Goey was only coming because he was pissed off with Collingwood
Maybe we could poach someone like Clayton Oliver or a star who gets disgruntled with his coach or his team mates

Re: Toby Greene
Fantastic.
An expert commentator reckons that Collingwood should get another big name recruit!
What’s the point?! The “competition” is becoming a joke.

Re: Toby Greene
Toby Greene wouldn't come because of the bias the umps have against St.Kilda.
Makes sense really.

Re: Toby Greene
Don’t be silly.
Top free agents usually go to the big 4-5 clubs.
It happens in the EPL as well.
The comp is becoming boring.

Re: Toby Greene
Who exactly are the 4-5 big clubs? Collingwood, Carlton, Essendon, Geelong and Melbourne or Richmond?
Are WC Port and Adelaide included?
Brisbane seem to be able to get a few?
Sydney?
Interestingly, they trade them too.
