I think it means King isn't playing and Marshall is no certainty

I agree, Marshall may not be a certainty.
This site will go into melt down if our ‘structural ace’, is included🙀

Humm........no King and no Billings and Marshall may need help....

Delighted to have Caminiti back, and support the decision to get Billings & King in good shape before a return.

Interchange from Gresham, Clark, Butler, Cordy, Bytel, Paton, Campbell and Sharman.....hummm....

I'd like to see Clark....too much choice.....I like the good Gresham....and the good Butler....but if we choose to go taller Campbell & Sharman

The sub may be Bytel again, or Paton or even Gresham or Butler...

At the risk of offending, I may have given Membury a rest in favor of Sharman this week.

Quite a bit of depth really....and with King, Billings, Windhager to come...

I think it means that our coach once again eyeing the emperor’s new clothes.

Hopefully he doesn’t fork out a king’s ransom for them

I don’t know what it means… but what I want to know is what more does Windhager have to do to get a bloody game in the starting 22? I know Ross likes his structures, but he’s the answer to more run in the midfield. He can tag, he can kick a goal, he makes good decisions and his disposals and inside 50 are effective which is what we need. I’m really frustrated with selection.

I’d like to see Membrey dropped. Have some selection integrity.

I agree. I think Membrey should have been dropped.

Perhaps they are trying to teach Windy to be a positive midfielder rather than a negative tagger ( which he was very good at) Don’t panic, I think everyone knows his potential, he was just channeled into a certain role under Ratts and I reckon the club and coaches can see the upside in a different role. But what do I know😀😀

Any chance they could try making Cordy into a positive forward?

Tony I never dispute your assistance to this forum and for the club.

I can’t help but worry for Windy and his case of the second year blues. We got NWM who got a rising star nomination last year and followed up with an impressive season so far as a HBF. We also got Mitchito earning a rising star nomination this year, clunking big marks (mark of the year nomination), kicking goals, killing it in champion data and potentially the front runner for taking out the rising star this year against Sheezel and Ashcroft. We also got Phillipou kicking goals, making smart decisions and earning a rising star nomination. I think we need to focus on the future and play the kids. Sharman over Membrey, Windhager and Clark in the guts. I watched Windy pretty closely all preseason and I was hoping big things for him but he just get a starting 22 role and I feel sorry for the lad.

I believe Windy needs to respect and understand centre structures more than what he's demonstrating. Once he can do that, the sky is the limit for him.

What do you mean by respect Centre structures? We could say the same for Steele and Crouch and ask why are we not respecting the centre yet we get outmuscled in the midfield. Steele isn’t playing his usual 4 quarter super stardom he has in the past, crouch has dropped his intensity the last two rounds (potentially fatigue and carrying the midfield in Steeled absence). I feel windy has respected the structure and is a key element to take out the Kelly’s, the Neales etc and let Steele and Crouch thrive. Last year our midfield looked a lot sleeker with Windy in rotation. Now imagine that with Sinclair for the the run and now Hunter for ball winning?

What does it mean?

It means that Membrey held his spot and Caminiti is effectively taking Sharman’s place.

And it looks like Paton has probably been dropped for Cordy, but might survive if Gresham doesn’t get up.

If Cordy is selected and delivers his usual one goal/single digit disposals game and is replaced at 3/4 time, and we lose…

The meltdown on here and especially on BF will be a hoot.

Gresham will be rested

Interesting.
The players occupying all of the spots in which he could potentially play are doing well ATM.

At a stretch, I’d suggest these are: Gresham, Philippou, Byrnes, Hill and Wood. IMO all deserve a spot ahead of Billings ATM.

He isn’t an in and under player or a defender, or a genuine goal sneak. He’s a flanker/half forward. He’s a good player, but won’t get a game until one of those I’ve listed is dropped or injured.

So no Cordy even though he’s listed ahead of Sharman and the coach clearly suggested he might be selected?

Does it mean Billing’s is on the nose?

Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

The bench will be:
    Clark (lock for mid rotation),
Butler (has applied pressure & hit scoreboard in the last few weeks)
Sharman (played Cordy’s role and more last week) and
Paton (part of back rotation, although would prefer Webster)

Sub: Gresham or Campbell if they are concerned about Marshall

Plus Membrey needs to play deep (FP) - potentially dropped for King next week if he doesn’t play well
