Looks right at home on the big stage

Good luck to him

I thought this was going to be about some special memorabilia.

His first game for us was a win against the Demons.

your classic project player, wouldn't it just be so St. Kilda if Brisbane cash in on the ROI after how many years did we pump into him, was it 8 ?

Like I keep saying, we need to stop with the project players.

I was at that game on July 1, 2018.
Joyce moved well as a third-tall defender, but he looked out of hos depth and provided little rebound.
As a team it was our best win for that season (1 of 4) under Richo.
We compered strongly all day and I leftvthe game early to beat the crowd back to Richmond Station after Stuv kicked what I thought was the sealer to put us 20 points up with less than 5 minutes to go.
I got to tge station and heard that we fell over the line by 2 points.
At least it wasn't another Robbie Gray finish like 2017.
I told my partner that we couldn't possibly lose that one after being 2 goals up with less than 2 minutes to go!

7 kicks
2 handballs
6 marks
2 tackles
113 MGs
93% TOG

Whereas Harris had

18 kicks
4 handballs
10 marks
2 tackles
429 MGs
100% TOG

You'd say probably did his role but who knows.

I thought he did well, forget the 12 minutes post blackout, Brisbane before that were sensational

There defence was rock solid (including DJ) Harris Andrews was back to his best and destroyed all, I think Joyce played his part in allowing Andrews to run off his man

In what regard, because that is a pretty big statement

I watched him closely all night and he was the only reason I wanted Lions to win.

Very disappointing game from him. Played to loose on his man for my liking and too slow. getting caught a few times with the ball in hand. Poor kicks and option choices when he actually had the ball. Low possession count.

You listed all of the reasons why he was delisted from St Kilda.

Yeah if the Lions and the Dogs play to their potential over 23 weeks both of them are capable of top 4 finishes.

We got the dogs at their weakest, if they can reproduce what they bought tonight, especially through their midfield most weeks then they are top four material.

Same goes the Lions. They can challenge.

I thought the dogs played about the same as they did against us. Q1 was Bont vs Brisbane, and without JUH it would have been a different scoreline.

Based on tonight I don’t think we lost much in getting rid of Joyce or Bruce.

Joyce seemed to be on whoever was kicking a goal at the time.

I don’t think the move of Bruce to the backline is working.

Or not recruiting Lobb?

Thought Darragh did ok on Lobb. Got him taken off.
