Practice Match vs Melbourne at Moorabbin

Can't see it mentioned anywhere officially or on here, but it was mentioned at training on Friday that we will play a practice match vs Melbourne at Moorabbin in the last week of Feb.

If true, hopefully it's at a reasonable time and open to the public.

Anyone know if this is confirmed?

There are three matches scheduled to be played at Moorabbin. 17 Feb ..Intra club game, 24 Feb..Melbourne. and 3rd March ...Druggies.which is our official preseason game.

4pm time slot will reduce numbers for some. During business hours is an interesting call.
Obviously care more about the practice, than the spectacle for the fans.

RSEA Park will play host to two pre-season games in the space of a fortnight over February and March, headlined by an official practice match against Essendon on Friday 3 March.

St Kilda will ramp up its preparations for the new year with a modified match simulation session against Melbourne on Friday 24 February – broadcast details of which will be confirmed at a later date – before its hit-out with the Bombers the following week.

Entry to both matches will be free, with no tickets required to attend. The Saints-Bombers match will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo.

St Kilda’s match simulation session with the Demons will consist of six 25-minute quarters with no time-on.

Further details relating to both games and upcoming open training sessions will be communicated shortly.
