Votes v Pies
Hoping Sainter Dad will again tabulate the votes for us.
5. Jack Sinclair. One of the two players who sparked the 3rd quarter comeback with a brilliant quarter , and was strong all across the night.
4. Jack Hayes . The other 3rd quarter catalyst. A fantastic debut.
2. Max King. One of only 2 winners in the first half, and continued to present.
2. Rowan Marshall. The other first half winner. Not as strong late, but still a good game.
1. Jack Steele. Just keeps going.
1. Jade Gresham. Worked his way into it, and hit the scoreboard late. Hopefully is primed for a great season.

Re: Votes v Pies
5. Hill - presented and tried to creat all night despite a strong tag… not just from the 3/4 onwards. Made some mistakes but did not quit
4. Hayes - hard to split btw him and Sinclair but I’m giving him points for the debut. Turned the game in the 3/4. Looks to be ready made and should take confidence from that
3. Sinclair - rubbish in the first half and his early 3rd quarter were he gave up prime position in the contest to let a team mate pick up his slack pbly cost us the game. From that point on though he responded extremely well and led our revival. Electric for 1.5 quarters
2. Marshall - the other one that got us back into the game. Worked hard, competed, won contests and made stuff happen
1. King - kicking for goal let him down but he presented and worked hard all night. Took grabs and created. Faded a bit late.
Unlucky - Membrey kicked 3 and was the leader when it mattered. Finished strongly after an average start

5. Hayes - well done mate, hope you can inspire some senior footballers to show your intensity
4. Sinclair - tried his guts out and ran deep
3. Steele - usual stuff
2. Membrey - usual stuff
1. Hill - some excellent play, few stuff ups, but at least he tries to use it every time he gets it.

Re: Votes v Pies
Sinclair was good after quarter time but he was a by stander in the first quarter when we needed him but he was not alone IMO
5. Jack Hayes (great game showed some seasoned AFL players what it takes to make a difference)
4. Marshall (at least he presented & gave contest)
3. Wilke the only defender that gave 100% all night
I don't want to reward mediocrity so that's it from me lets hope we see a far more committed St.Kilda from the start next week very disappointing start to the season IMO

Not "Simon Templar". He was here first. Please change my username to Bumstead and if possible make me one of those very large sandwiches, thanks!
