Only the Giants or Bulldogs can edge us out to 9 if we lose our last game and they win their last 2 games and both make up around 12%. That seems very highly improbable.

Going to be a massive test. I'd really love a big elite game from a a couple or more of our players.

We've a lot of the time this season had a very broad list of decent/good contributors but I haven't seen a player really grab a game by the scruff and dominate yet. Would love to see that happen and hopefully tonight is the night.

We needed to turn up against North in 2016 to try and make finals and we failed when it mattered most.

West Coast have a few injuries so we need to take advantage of this and cement our spot in the 8.

Our path to a top 4 spot actually isnt super unrealistic. Would require us winning out and Richmond losing out. We have a fair chance to win out in my view. Richmond play the Cats tomorrow which i think they will lose, and then it will all come down to Richmond vs Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval, with Adelaide winning two in a row now. Not very likely, but its certainly a possibility and whilst it is possible we should be aiming for it.

The only comparison to 2016 is the position th Dogs and the Giants find themselves in. Much more pressure on them to perform than there is on the Saints. That said, we have knocked over both Port and Richmond quite comfortably so I don't expect to see stage fright against the Eagles.
