So we took Heath and Sharman. No mids.

Would have preferred they used all four picks maybe a mid and a tall defender, but probably want to hang onto the likes of Hunter, McKernan and Wood at seasons end

Sharman- reliable goal kicker

Yeah, that's gonna become as accurate as a Star Wars Storm Trooper, under our system

Disappointed to miss Callow - so close to our second pick. Odd pick for Hawthorn, Callow will be way down their KPP list as they're developing a lot of them.

Heath was an obvious one and looms as a nice project to work through in the coming years. Can see him ending up on the rookie list at season's end and spending 2-3 years there before a call is made.

Would have like another couple of project players to satisfy the recruiters' itch - and taken the best available in the national draft.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

St Kilda love a good project player / 'raw' talent...

Have we ever had one of these that paid off?

I expect Matty Parker will also pay off. Just not for us!

Latest video highlights of Sharman. He takes a good over head mark and is excellent on both feet which is rare for someone his size.

Despite the risks of hoping for too much from a brief highlights package, I really liked Sharman's field kicking too. Like a big quality mid, putting the pill to the spot where the guy is running to, or should be running to. Let's hope he can build a tank.

Totally agree SMHH, the other quality after reading his BIO is that he could have thrown in the towel, given the game away or bummed around in lower leagues but has travelled to get better.

I also like the look of Heath so I'm more than happy to watch these two kids develop over the years.

Obviously no mids could be identified so they must be our targets at the National Draft & FA / RFA.
