Ross knows he needs quality forwards, his problem is quality forwards don't want to go to Freo...

Karma.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

You are talking about the second most successful coach in our Club's history. You are forgetting the bumbling, overpaid Michael Nettlefold's role in his departure.

The Lyon worship continues...

So true. Thank you Michael Nettlefold for being so incompetent. At least now we have a coach who looks to the future and isn't so focussed on he present

Dunno - we have had one successful coach and the rest are all also-rans, doesn't matter how many times you almost got there but never did.

Ross is always turning over his assistants, but more noticeable is when his team loses finals.
His assistants always seem to be the fall guys with Ross.......but as they say the buck stops with the coach doesn't it?????????

So the point is chook , he will always deflect the blame for losing.........
It is pretty obvious chook numerous assistants under Ross offer suggestions to improve game- plan, but why hasn't Ross altered his coaching ideals since 2005????
The simplistic answer is "He can't....it is that simple chook"......no plan B mate.

i heard that too and thought Ross sounded a little desperate to be honest.
When asked about not kicking enough goals he said (pre game too) 'I knew that question was coming.....'
ofcourse it was Ross cause we all know you dont have an answer to it.

Actually Ro$$ sounded like a befuddled Kevin Sheedy........ His answers at times were weird, I wondered what was the Roo's comment supposed to mean. Yes and I had a chuckle at that 'I knew that was coming' comment when asked about game plan that doesn't have his teams kicking enough goals in finals - yeah Duhh Ro$$- then he started the 'Sheedy speak'..... rambled on about nothing............. then has the terimerity to ask the journos 'do you understand what I mean' ( or words to that effect). If he said that once he said it ten times. Kept reapeating it after trying to answer each question. He was quite strange........ Really rattled......... actually Robbo and some other journo (blonde fellow) looked quite bemused by his answers when the camera panned to them

Or maybe the comment he kept repeating ad nauseum was ' Does that make sense to you'? I kept hoping a journo would have the gumption to say, 'No, please stick to the question and don't speak in riddles". He was like a desperate man drowning. Methinks he realises his 'use by date' is just about up.
