just found out by a mate the pies get back from their camp on WEDNESDAY, and resume training at the paddock next MONDAY, so i think that means the oval will be in perfect conditions for us in 2 weeks
"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

If ya don't have a jumper a saints shirt will be sufficient.
PS, I drove past Gosch's park yesterday and Richmond were training on it. They were mainly using the small rugby ground but a few of them were running laps of the main oval and kicking the footy around.
By December 7 indications are that the venue will be fine.
Im prepared to push on with Gosch's.......unless people feel Arden St is a safer bet.
Gosch's get's my early vote.

still confused, HD...
I suggest gosch's padock...
first alternative is the combined rugby/soccer square next door...
second alternative is arden streeet on another date...
lock this in fcs...
waiting...

(ps we will give the kid from echuca/moama some latitude if he makes it down, everyone else is fair game)...

Yeh I agree - lock in Gosch's.
Plan A - Gosch's Paddock
Plan B - Opposite Oval
Plan C - Arden St (either via train or car loads - it can be done)

the only problem with plan B is that on a soccer/rugby oval they just have the goals and no points, so we woild have to guess if it is a point or out on the full.Spinner wrote:rollinson 65 wrote:still confused, HD...

ive talked to a guy from Port Adelaide, and once holidays start he is keen to get a Buget bus load of people down for the cricket or soccer and have a game against us. although he has said he doesnt think he can get more than 12 people that will come down, plus a few that live here, so ive said we can lend them a few of our guys as long as they dont key our cars if we win???

I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.
