I actually didn't mind it. Fortunately I don't live too far from the city, but the anticipation of footy while I was at work on Monday was fantastic. You wouldn't want too many of them in a year, but the odd Monday game would be good.

Absolutely loved it the crowd was amazing I think we should put our hand up for Monday night footy.
Get on the front foot.
come on guys it's one day that you have to work around.
I live in parkdale didn't get home till almost 12 but thought it was totally awesome and loved the fact that we were in the paper the next morning on the front page then page 10 & 11 and then alot of the sport section too.

I don't think it matters whether you like it or not. It's an unavoidable reality. Soon there'll be 18 teams. Each round will need to be spread out to maximise revenue opportunities for AFL, clubs and media.

Bit of a bugger if you've got kids who are meant to be doing homework...
