He'd been done a huge disservice by the Kangaroos, being played as a forward, given his obvious running ability, athleticism, huge tank and footy smarts.

We are finally playing him to his strengths, and getting the best out of him. It didn't happen straight away, though ... I was hoping that we'd see what I was seeing when he arrived.

Sometimes, I wonder about the people in charge, and why they are being paid.

It's sad to think what a player he could have been over the years ...although, we probably wouldn't have been able to afford him, so it's been a win-win for him (finally) and St Kilda.

Didn’t notice the injury at the game, when did it happen?

Probably just before time on in the last in a collision with an Essendon player. It didn’t look too bad. I think he’d been softened up before and it might have already been injured. Hard to tell.

He was instrumental in the "comeback" five goals in the last quarter and was BOG. His marking, pace and kicking were superb. And then he got injured. We can't take a trick.
