It is the fact that Hill played thru a lower leg discomfort last season - hence the bandaging he carried

Hill was moved to defence for a reason - to give potency to our defensive run

The fact he continued to play under some duress was a contributing reason

Players are deployed to where they most benefit the team

Not the other way around

Despite the loss of Coffield and Clark from our defence, the now return of Number 33 and his progress and the contributions of Webster and Sinclair are standing us in good stead

Bear in mind that of a back 6 of Wilkie, Howard, Paton, Clark, Coffield and Battle, Howard is the most experienced with 80 odd games at the level

So inexperienced

And just for clarity, as 2021 progressed, the Coach put the pressure on firstly Coffield (who had “bulked up” his 191 cm frame in the absence of Carlisle) and Clark to “use your legs”

Guess why?
