Oh well, can probably just lock in another 10-12 season right now.

I disagree. Webster more disappointing than either. Needs to be attacking/rebounding but didn't do that or offer defense.

Beaten by a team with no pretensions about finals. Wanted it more than us. Cleaner than us. Bettercoached than us.

Umpires haven't cost us the win, but they've done there best to keep Collingwood in it

And Ratten can hold Howard’s hand whilst they piss off into our memories.

I want Ratts to completely lose his s*** in his presser tonight and just start kicking s*** over and have a physical swing at as many journos as he can and hopefully this deranged and unhinged outburst will be enough of a distraction to paper over the cracks of this complete deck of cards.

We won’t win 10 games

Some players on 500k plus don’t want to play

Good players injured or unable to get fit
Despite 4 months of pre season

And several s*** players

What about the free to Hayes in the last quarter. How did it go to Collingwood?

Owens - a blunder.
Hayes - a blinder!
Really disappointing but too be honest not too surprised.

Where to from here?
We just don't have enough a-grade players and you won't find them with the way we have recruited.

Completely outplayed and outcoached in the first half. Kent, Byrnes, and Owens were putrid. Sinclair was superb as were Hayes and Marshall. Gresham a great second half but made a couple of decision errors

Unless we fix our midfield we'll finish in the bottom half of the ladder. If Clark, Jones and Billings play, we win.

Give Owens the benefit of being on debut. Kent schment. More of the same from him. Give Battle more time.

Midfield set up was a balls up early. Wasn’t surprised that we came back when Gresham went in there. We desperately miss Jones and just one of Clark, Billings, Hannebery, Bytel or Ryder would have been handy also

Therein lies the nub of the issue. Lack of midfield talent and polish. Carlton's mids last night were soooooo much better than ours.

I agree re Owens. Way out of it early, but I thought he showed a bit in the last quarter . Far more likely than Byrnes .

I think we can stop dreaming, Owens, Windhager, Kyle & Peris need half a season in the VFL, minimum.

Kent is still using the wrong vowel.

Marshall & Hayes bust a gut for the Club but neither are Centre clearance rucks.

Hayes is the "competitive beast" Vortex has been screaming for.

Sharman needs to pull his finger out, his natural forward ability was missed inside a poorly functioning forward line.

You know our players have no confidence in their foot skills when they stop, prop, loop, turnover the way they do.

When Ryder, Clark, Jones and Billings are fit, none will struggle to get inside the 22 that played tonight.

Disappointing. Thank god for Hayes!

That was a different decision but both were wrong. Hayes had his arms chopped and was hit in the head. In the other, the ball was correctly handballed.
