thats what this is all about.
It's not about $125... it's about the PISS POOR way St Kilda Football Club treats it's most valuable resource... IT'S MEMBERS!!!

Just out of interest I have called the membership departments at all other Victorian clubs today to enquire about membership prices. Below is a summary of the cost for membership packages at each club which provide, entry & premium reserved seating for 11 home games, and guaranteed access to GF tickets if the club makes it:

Bulldogs - $480
Blues - $541
Tigers - $544
Demons - $410
Roos - $380
Hawks - $485
Cats - $443
Pies - $510
Bombers - No info available
Saints $583

This makes us the most expensive of all Melbourne based clubs.

was the varying degrees of premium/prime reserved seating discussed?

Is it the lowest cost premium/prime seating?

Like many, including AOK think it stinks that level 2 have to become SC

In each case the package includes the best seats available and also includes similar benefits in terms of dining etc.

Dear sucker,

Saints Easy Payment Plan makes being a St.Kilda Member simple, providing automatic renewal annually without any effort required on your behalf.

As a St.Kilda Member utilizing Saints Easy Payment Plan in 2008, your St.Kilda Membership and additional products are set to automatically rollover and renew for the 2009 season.

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO GOLD SEAT MEMBER IN 2009

Every year the club turns away over 500 members seeking to upgrade to the "best seats in the house" on level 2. In 2009 all level 2 Reserved Seat holders MUST hold a St Kilda Social Club membership. This upgrade will provide you with a guaranteed ticket to the AFL Grand Final, should we make it.

Due to the high demand for these premium seats, we have taken the liberty of adjusting your 2009 membership fee accordingly (see below)

OPting out
If you do not wish to continue with the Saints Easy Payment Plan you will be required to 'opt out' by Friday Nov 28th.
Once again the current board showing complete and utter contempt towards the members!

They did it with the relocation in not advising the members of the location even though they knew at the time before ballot's were caste and now they in their own words, "WE HAVE TAKEN THE LIBERTY" to adjust your membership fees!

After Butterss delivered five million dollar profits in a row, and never once did he pull any stunts like this, it seems that this is how the new board intends to raise the bottomline by TAKING THE LIBERTY in directly dipping into the members pockets for the extra money.

This mob are a disgrace and should get booted asap, let them know at the next AGM!

Slightly off topic, but just to confirm,

1. there is no current SC waiting list?

2. If so, I can tell the rest of family to upgrade ( we are Lv 1 res seats) to ensure GF tickets?

premium at TD is not premium at MCG was my point.
adult tix are not all the same price, true.
guaranteed GF tickets start from $278 i believe on ADULT 11 Con. plus SC Membership.
premium seating seems to be the sticking point.

but that is not the beef of this thread

people who have premium seats on level 2 NOW MUST BUY A SC membership.

I would argue that it isn't.

Hence the reason why there is a waiting list for L2 and none for L1.

As for forking out whatever to see the Saints. Only to a point.

I am willing to pay standard membership and mabye a reserved seat on the MW.

this means I save about $300 that I can use for other discretionary spending.

Thanks STKFC. You will NEVER see the $600 plus again from me, and once I get my MCC membership you will never get a cent from me and I will let my membership lapse.

Loyalty goes both ways you money grabbing parasites.

Lance or James??

I have received a PM from FortiusQuoFidelius about his conversation with St Kida, I have requested for him to post it on here.

AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE HOW THE CLUB HAS HANDLED THIS!

TO PUT IT BLUNTLY, THEY JUST DON'T CARE IF THEY LOSE A FEW MEMBERS.

YEP, SO MUCH FOR THE CLUB BEING LOYAL TO THE FANS.

"STRENGTH THROUGH LOYALTY" MY AR$E

Is it the board's responsibility to be "loyal to the fans"?

Not too sure if it is.

L2 is by far the best viewing level.

Pilgram...

Here's an idea...

How about you stick on topic and stop the digressing, your last few posts mean nothing to the topic IMO
