There very well be some truth in what she writes but that is not the point at all.

But people tell us she had sex with many footballers and Seve. And she is bitch. And a prick of a person. Where is the proof in that?
Direct observation of her behaviour, personally and by those with extensive knowledge of her through having worked with her for nigh on three decades. The Seve bit came from her own mouth. Brace for sarcastic, nonsensical, error ridden, baseless, hypocritical retort.
The beauty of modern social media is that stories can just as easily be published about a Journo and personal events that have happened in their lives that they may otherwise want to keep private. And these stories can especially come back to bite an older female Journo like Caro that participated in many a boozy night with the boys to get a story as was/is customary for an ambitious female journo reporting on topics such a football. Politics wasn't/isn't much better. I'm surprised that the Seve story has taken this long to reach football forums. So yeah WW, it's always made me smile when I read a piece by Caro that takes the high moral ground.

Why would The Age aim to be Herald Sun?

Post: # 1285327Post Megamaguire »

Is the sports section of The Age trying to be like the Herald Bum/ If so they are in big trouble.
I wasn't even going to bother reading this post on the board as i am already a very one -eyed Sam Fischer fan. He' is one of the most stable and dependable St.Kilda players i can think of over the many years i've followed the Saints. He's also good at golf, not that that really interests me . For years now he has thoroughly earned my respect and admiration. His on-field heroics and dedication have been fantastic for our club.

"Innocent until proven guilty" is used by people who ARE guilty.
"I am innocent" is used by people who are NOT guilty.

At her best caro is great at getting stories going that embarrass the AFL and keep the Empire honest at worst she's like some kind of new weekly or new idea gossip columnist reporting on Kim Kardashian's cellulite problems from a photoshopped wide lens photograph. She pays too much attention to the minor celebrity that these meat-headed knuckle draggers are afforded by having over developed motor skills and little life experience.

Apparently the Opposition has "evidence" he colluded with Julia in the 90's over some AWU slush fund.

No allegations of wrongdoing of course, oh no, just throwing mud hoping it will stick.

No wonder the gutter is full of journalists and the reason why the Age with other old media is dying a putrid death.

Fairfax Media understands....blah blah blah.

Irrelevant nobodies who cant cope with their new place in the world.

The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Bernard this Sam 'Fischer' that i maintain a definite one-eyedness for is the cousin of our backline general @ St.K. Sam Fisher, i think he could be as good as Chips and will hopefully step into his shoes when Chips retires.

Happy Saintering!

Don't know if it's been mentioned already, but on SEN they had a brief interview with Montagna in which he said he had heard nothing about Fisher and had no idea what the article was about.

I just read that story....

Joey said 'as far as the players know'

Even if there was a glimmer of truth to it, they would be carefully wording things IMO.
