Hille and Welsh expected back for Bombers

Post: # 963388Post Milan Faletic »

Essendon games always make me nervous but I think we were still adjusting to playing without Roo last time and we had Zac and Fisher playing forward.

Hopefully we are more settled now, although I have some doubt about Joey playing on the ice skating rink again.

With Winderlich already confirmed to miss, and Jobe maybe out with a calf injury?

Last time we were slow and 2nd to everything all game and as said Hille & Ryder caused us damage. This time they will have Winderlich out and would be surprised if Watson does come up as he is yet to train so they will lose some midfield drive if that is the case.

This week is an opportunity to fine tune our game against a side that has troubled us in the past but also a side we tuned up in 2007 (last game) to lift us into 4th so the chance to do it again if we come to play our A game.

That team from round22 were the Bendigo Bombers who had absolutely nothing to play for.
We had everything to play for.
It was almost as if they were resigned to the fact that we would smash them from the first bounce.

Hardly worth referring back to...

Having these two back wont be much of an impact - coming off long layoffs players rarely perform first week back.
