at half way- who would be leading the B&F

Post: # 938611Post saintbrat »

( apart from finals)
with Nick unable to take out a 6th.

Brendon would be up there
Lenny could be close to a second
Milney any chance?

Sam Gilbert I thought started the year well, but has dropped off.

Between Lenny and Milney I think at this stage.

I would have thought BJ well clear, and perhaps Montagna and Hayes in 2 and 3.

Interesting. Do we know how the SS Board's votes tallied against the Official B & F last year?

From memory the official was Riewoldt, Goddard, Montagna. Or was Monty ahead of BJ?

I bet you are going to tell me Lenny was 2 in the SS votes.

I'd agree with Goddard. Hayes and Montagna would also be placing, but it's hard to go past Goddard.

I put my money on BJ for the Brownlow before the season started and I'm feeling pretty good at the moment.

Might have a couple of bob on Lenny, just to be safe.

Lenny would be well clear. To get an idea look at the coaches votes. BJ second and Dal or Joey third. Milney up there as well.

I bet you are going to tell me Lenny was 2 in the SS votes.
And the Final Tally: (from 2009)

Lenny Hayes 59
Nick Riewoldt 54
Nick Dal Santo 46
Leigh Montagna 41
Brendon Goddard 30
Justin Koschitzke 24
Sam Gilbert 19
Jason Gram 15
Michael Gardiner 14
Stephen Milne 12
Farren Ray 11
Sam Fisher 11
Clinton Jones 10
Adam Schneider 9
David Armitage 4
Steven Baker 4
Luke Ball 2
Jarryn Geary 2
Ben McEvoy 2
Raphael Clarke 2
Andrew McQualter 2
Zac Dawson 1
Max Hudghton 1

The BnF went 1. Roo 2. BJ 3. Joey 4. Dal 5. Lenny (but they were all very close)

BnF rewards consistently very good to excellent outputs the way the system works, so I'd say at the moment:

1. BJ
2. Lenny
3. Joey
4. Dal
5. Gilbert
6. Gwilt
7. Blake
8. Fisher (missed a few games)
9. Ray
10. Baker

Milney and Gardi would be just outside I'd say

i reckon BJ would be leading it at the moment

but i wouldnt be suprised if one of CJ ,Blake ,Ray , Gwilt or Raph are in the top 5..... remember its all about who the coach thinks

Don't know where we'd be on the ladder without Milne.
