Well done Jarryn. He has really come along this year. Contributed well in all our games.

Theres a moment from last year that made me believe he was going to be something. It wasn't a moment of brilliance or anything. Just something that stood out to me. He kicked up to a lead then followed up for a handball recieve. He didn't get it but followed the next kick up and basically just kept running forward following the play. It was just great running and even though he didn't get the ball I just remember thinking thats the kind of effort you want to see from your newer players.

McEvoy?

Steven?

There have been some pretty big wraps on both, but they have to get into the seniors before they are any chance !!
Sorry, i think i was more thinking in my head of players currently in the 22... probably didnt phrase it properly... I thought the post i was quoting was referring to our next nominee this year, hence why i said that im looking forward to the crop over the next couple of years!

But you are very right! The likes of Steven, McEvoy etc are looking really good! :D

Bloody beauty. Congrats Jarryn

BTW the count is 46, thats the amount of words the article had before Geelong was mentioned. Is anyone else sick to f****** death of them being mentioned in every single Saints article?

Still big congrats to Gears, about damn time

Personally I think his best game was against Port a few weeks back, he got that blood nose and just kept going in hard all bandaged up, throwing his body on the line time and time again. He kicked a great goal on the run too, from memory. Nice to see him get some recognition.

Is Armo still eligible?

Jeeze, what a well spoken, level headed kid he is, too.

Ive been a fan since I saw him play for the Scorps a few years back, good skills, is hard at the ball and the man and doesnt back down. Classy.

Very impressive.

It was only a matter of time becasue he has been playing so well and so consistently this year.
Geary played a better game in round 7 than round 8.
The Wallys stuffed up in not rewarding him last week.
Sooner or later they were going to run out of quality players and be forced to nominate the best.

Yeah, but that nice goal towards the end was pretty good viewing for the highlights tape 8-)
