A man with as much courage and determination as Hudghton would need to have something amputated to be Gawn troll.
Definately a concern that he is still not available but in reality is a 10 year professional who will not need a lot of conditioning when his body is right, will slot back in and can play short or tall, probably his last year and like King in 07 at the cats, if his last game is his best game then everyone will be happy.

Maybe this year?

Prepping him for the last eight weeks of the year IMO....

Absolutely no need to rush him at the moment.

If he is close, give him another week.

Then line him up for a half @ Sandy.

Then a bit more.

Then a bit more.

Bring him in for the run home and the build up for the finals.

If we are fair dinkum, we need this bloke fit for once come September.

I notice Maxy still hasn't lined up for Sandy..

Unless some one can comfirm from internal he's right to play again, I think he has got to be drawing the curtain.

Seven weeks with no game time, 30 years old. He's no gazelle, and the body has had its fair share of trauma over the journey.

I see an AH finish to this story

Unless you can confirm from internal that he will not return, then i am going to presume that he is injured and will be back when he is right.

Maybe this year?

He looked pretty fit and in no way inconvenienced at Docklands last Sunday, pandering to the needs of those with him and running up and down the stairs.

He will be chosen off work on the track.

And there is no hurry.

We can ease Max into it..and get him match practiced...

The games that we will really need him are those againts the Hawks (for Buddy/Roughead).....and the Cats...plus any finals match.

Would be nice to have him to play on Fev too..

Hurt his hammy at training 3 weeks ago. One more should see him right. So at least 3 weeks from senior selection. Still cannot understand why we do not get told this stuff. Just at guess I am pretty sure we would have still won all our games with this information. On more positive news Dempster should play in 4 weeks.

Give him time to build up those aging hammy's & he'll be like a spring lamb come finals time . He will be back & he will be a extreamly valuable member of team mark my words  .

Pity is I told a healthy number of voyeurs that RTB's plan was to have Max and X work into full fitness beyond the half way mark.

X stuffed that, knee and all. Meanwhile.....

Max will play - when he is ready, and it will be at the back end of the year. The only thing that troubles Max is the lack of a partner in "old man training" since Banger retired. What's "old man training"? Where a couple of buzzards walk the boundary talking about their kids.

Max's day will be the last in September, believe me. And, so it should be.
