Sam Fisher

Sam Fisher (St K) shoulder. Injured A-C joint early in the game. Returned to the field but will be sore today. Doubtful this week.

Saw the injury yesterday and he looked incredibly sore, was very suprised he returned to the field.

So, who comes in for Fisher if he doesn't pull up? Its a long way off obviously and 'doubtful' isn't a sure thing but it poses an interesting decision as we have quite a few backmen waiting in the wings.

King comes in to play 2nd ruck, Kosi moves forward and Gwilt moves back. Another alternative would be bring Max back as well.

Yeah my vote would have to go to King and push Goddard down back for longer periods of the game.

If King isn't up to it perhaps Miles is ready for his debut? great teams have a way of introducing youngsters without costing themselves the four points, I hope we can keep it up.

How long do these injuries last for? is it just a knock and he is sore or does he need surgery?

MH - was wandering around on Level 1 during the first half last night...

A lot would depend on xray results as to what the state of the socket is.
Usually the socket that goes rather than the ball.

No bone damage means everything is AOK.

he came back on and played out the game, so maybe it's just a bruise.

If thats the case, sore today & tomorrow. Plenty of treatment throughout the week and all good for Monday's game. 8 day break helps !!
