5 games in and we are already 2 games clear of whoever will be 4th this week!

Keep up the pressure
Keep up the weeks when our opponents have a bad week!

I am loving this

It may not be impossible. The weather here in Geelong today is like nothing we've seen in a long time. Its icy cold, almost gale force winds and there is this strange wet stuff that keeps pouring out of the sky in heavy downpours. With the heavy rains Brisbane has had for them to play and train in recently, my fingers are crossed that they may have a little bit of an edge there. I know its just a small chance, but my fingers are crossed!

Carlton could be 4th, as could Port or the Lions - but all 3 will be on 3-2 which puts us 2 games (and a lot of percent) clear of them!

Geelong would need to win by about 400 points to be top

I hate Geelong! Every week I dare to hope for an upset and every week I'm crushed. They just better watch out in round 14.

The last few years must have been difficult Debi living there, very difficult.

I tell you what is really annoying me right now. When they talk about the teams below us, they say Geelong and St Kilda undefeated or like I just heard on MMM Carlton 3rd behind Geelong and St Kilda.
Its like Geelong is top of the ladder... ITS ST KILDA AND GEELONG FFS

its annoying the hell out of me because we deserve to be named first like we are listed....

I know it might not seem much but its St Kilda and Geelong...

/end of rant.

Geelong won :( so that makes both Us and them 2 games clear of 3rd to 6th - but may go 3rd to 7th if Adelaide wins

With Geelong having won 47 out of their last 50 games I think it is fair enough to be mentioned in the same sentence as us who have had a run of 5 games! I know we are now premiership favourites and thinking of back to backs but perspective PLEASE!

yes, we have a fair way to go to match them for dominance of the competition.

Perhaps. But remember, both Geelong and St Kilda has won the same number of premierships in the last 42 years! We have won the same number of games in 2009. We will have the same number of players when we meet in round 14.

stats......I love them.

A premiership will decide it.......sadly it has. They have theirs!

And before you question my integrity, Robert Harvey and I have 383 games between us!

I think it's great... let them talk geelong up, let it be theirs to lose again, let us be the hunters, let geelong have the weight of expectation, but also the fear and doubt deep down inside that maybe they'll be denied once more.... let us be their worst freakin nightmare
