Clinton Jones
Stevie Baker
Jarryn Geary
Andrew McQualter
Luke Ball (maybe unfair to classify him as a midfield stopper but he can do as good a job as anyone in that department)

Leigh Fisher and Rob Eddy.

We have an abundance of wealth in that area.

Is it coincidence that we have so many or is it by design?

Brett Kirk

Not a total shut down player

Players that can nullify there opposition but win their own ball. That is the reason Kirk is one of the best, he does not scrag the opposition in general, he just uses the best opponent to get himself to the contest first.

Kieran Jack
Jarrad McVeigh
Kirk
Bolton
Crouch

They have a fair few who can do a job, too. Not surprising when you consider their style of footy.

Of course. Could only be a good thing to have so many options, provided they can all do their bit with the footy in their hands.

Harsh on Luke ball imo because I think hes a gun.The other guys you have mentioned have been nothing short of outstanding. I realise that you need your team balance but I honestly didnt believe that Jones, Gwilt or McQualter could be such vital cogs in the machine (although Clintons kicking skills still worry me).At pressent every member of the team has a role & they are so focussed on thier particular task that it puts so much pressure on the oppossition that they make mistakes resulting in turn overs that we are capitalising on .
