Saw that.

I was always bitter about him leaving us so soon after Plugger - especially as it seemed to be a money-driven move and that we rescued him from Essendon and saved his career.

Kicked over 50 goals in 1994 - including seven in the Sam Jones game down at Geelong - so he had some real talent.

Anyway, I hope he's alright...

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

also could have had a career as a private detective as he was good at following people after mettings ( tribunals?)

Bit of a head case, on and off the field from memory. Good player on his day though, relatively strong for his height I recall.

Maybe this year?

A good stalker in his day.

Asked Stewie about why he left... his reply was "You can thank f&&&&&&g Stan for that".

What WAS the name of that umpire ?

And what did Windscreens say to him at the traffic lights?

Not the sharpest tool in the shed was our COB

I still reckon to get caught in one of these scams mean you have precious little common sense or "street smarts".

Wasn't it Craig Davenport who followed an umpire in his car after a tribunal hearing? Or am I mistaken?

It was Craig O'Brien who allegedly followed a Reserve Grade Umpire.

Geez, I'm getting old. Memory not what it once was many years ago.
At least they had the same first name!

Interesting.
I have read Alves' and Harves' books but am none the wiser about what really happened with Alves and why he divided opinion so much and if the players really wanted him out.
Ryan O'Keefe reminds me a lot of O'B, strong overhead, little battling nugget.
