Best I could find on it was this:

http://www.vflfooty.com/?q=node/5020

11.22.88 to 8.5.53

Judging by the score line it could have been a lot uglier than it was.

No mention of who the ten Saints listed players were either.

Yeah nah pleasing positive

found this
Our depth underated. You are joking of course. The reason we cannot go to the next level is due to our lack of depth. 2 good examples this weekend. 5-6 players out against Port and we get smashed even if it was a pratice games and yesterday Sandy with about 10 Saints players in the side got well beaten by Port Melbourne who do not have any AFL players in their side. Our depth at the moment is poor and will take 2-3 years to fix up as we just offloaded a fair few experienced players at the end of last season for hopefully long term gain.
Once again plugger66 is comparing apples with oranges.

Port Melbourne list seasoned men.

Sandy list with 10 Saints kids.

Once again you dont understand. I was pointing out that our depth will be poorer this year because we lost a lot of senior players, whether good or average, and recruited a lot of very young players. By your comment you are backing up my arguement.

Thanks

Yep...good to see that...I'm not sure if the same thing ever happened with Melbourne but good on St Kilda for getting the captain and coach up on stage..the right things are happening off the ground...now we need to get the right things happening on the ground...it will take a little while for the players to get sed to each other, but I'm confident that the mix of players between the 2 clubs will be a successful one...guess time will tell
