was interesting to also read in the article about the presidents meeting over the financial situation that 8-10 clubs have sponsorships finishing at the end of the year. This makes our 3year deal look a little sweet as long as jeld wen keeps paying.

We still DO NOT have a "shorts" sponsor for 2009. Archie stated that we would have one in place before the season starts.

Time is quickly running out !!

Wouldn't surprise me if the club got duped into paying for the rights to have linen house printed on their shorts.

The season has not started, and I feel sure that the Club and the potential sponsors are in negotiations

With Pacific Brands moving their manufacturing to China maybe we should look at getting a chinese sponsor for our shorts.

Beware buying your undies - remember how the chinese used to bind girls feet to stop them growing.

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

Geelong Football Club is not even the Geelong football Club- if you look in the phone book white pages online- you will be redirected to The Geelong Cats

the G.F.C is the Global Financial Crisis.

the G.F.C is the Global Financial Crisis.
It's the recession, but GFC is quicker and easier to type!
