Come from behind football

Post: # 700688Post dcstkfc »

Surely a worrying trend.

Look at all the occasions under Lyon where we've mucked around with it in the first half, got in a hole, and only make a game of it when we start playing some attacking footy.

2007: Round 8 v Hawthorn, Round 9 v Fremantle, Round 11 v North Melbourne, Round 19 v Sydney, Round 22 v Richmond

2008: NAB Cup Grand Final v Adelaide, Round 6 v Port Adelaide, Round 9 v Brisbane Lions, Round 11 v Western Bulldogs, Round 12 v Sydney, Round 14 v North Melbourne, Round 18 v Port Adelaide, Round 19 v Collingwood

and tonight.

Surely we need to play more attacking footy.

Not just under Lyon....

Unfortuntaely one of the saints' Hallmarks for a number of years is that we playa lot of hot and cold football.

Most teams do not play 100 minutes of hot football...but our % of cold is oten too high.

IN 2008 we won 5 times after trailing at 1/2 time..more than any other team

However...we also won only 7 out of 25 second quarters, far less than any other Top 8 side

Nab Cup games are only a chance to give younger players a bit of game time, as well as guys like Goose- its better than intra-club games but its just practice...dont read too much into it. Would have been nice to repeat 2008 but if you live on ifs buts and maybes....

Global Warming? don't you dare question this or you'll be called a heretic...remember the Catholic Church in the Middle Ages? "the earth is flat !!!"
I thought science was all about finding the truth and asking questions...why do we all have to believe what we are told ffs ????
