Biggest Wank of the day

Post: # 652797Post Moccha »

http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/sport/ ... 63,00.html

"I dare say down the track, who knows that the Scott Burns type, Nathan Buckley or whatever, will come back and coach the club or be in another capacity because we don't want to lose good Collingwood people," Malthouse
said.

As if he's a Collingwood person through and through

Personally I think the biggest wank of the day is the story about James Hird making a comeback at 36.

Moccha how isnt he a Collingwood person through and through?? Was at the one club his whole career was he not??

As loyal a player as you would ever want to see. As an assistant you would take him in a heartbeat.

I'm talking about Mick Malthouse not Scott Burns

LOL....ahhh ok. All good. Was just the way you worded the OP. I guess because he is coaching us he has to talk in that context. I take your point though.... :)

So if Ross Lyon said "we dont want to lose good St Kilda people" you'd have a crack at him too??

I'm as one-eyed Saint as the next bloke but sometimes the "one rule for St Kilda another rule for everyone else"creed on here reaches silly proportions

Plenty of CEO's refer to their companies as "we" yet very few of them have worked there ever since they left school I'd think

Mountain out of a molehill IMHO

I'm sure many of us are guilty of having the biggest wank of the day!

Coming from Mick Malthouse it's a big wank.

Played for St.Kilda, Richmond
Coached Footscray, WCE and Collingwood

I think his comments lose impact in that context.

I think it's the fact that he'd like to be known as Collingwood through and through, even though in reality he can't be.

Just shows how commercial the footy game is and you can't be a Collingwood person or any other person other than the club you are coaching for. So Scott Burns will supersede his Collingwood personna when and if he becaomes an assistant at Geelong.

Comprende

Spot on.

Getting a little bit tired of the "one rule for us, another for them" attitude of our fans.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

I still think of Buckley as a good Brisbane Bears person.

Win it for HIM!

He's pissed because Harvey had a better farewell than him

This is what happens when a 'journo' with a crush on James Hird has a wet dream and decides to write it up in the paper. Wasn't this muppet a member of the Essendon cheer squad at one stage?
