It would appear that Lyon did an excellent job.
I would note that the St Kilda "big names" all lifted...
Roo, Hayes (for a quarter), BJ, Gram all played their best games for the year.
Banger probably did too.
With 9 "raw" players in the team the Saints won when most had Freo as clear favourites.
......and I wonder what GT thought of Banger's game. GT said he saw "the signs" last year of Harvey's demise.
The "signs" I saw this week had in LARGE TYPE that Banger could play on next year if he wanted too.
